Biography

Mina Nasr (b. 1983) is a visual artist based in Cairo, Egypt. He talks about changes on what occupies society under its current socio-political happenings. Nasr is an observer of contemporary society documenting and manifesting ideas of cohabitation by addressing issues about the culture, its community and the sort of problems it faces on a daily basis. In his work, shows the connection between the historical and realistic events of his surrounding, this results from many stages of research and persisting investigation. Nasr drawings take unconventional dimensions incarnated through installations using the black and white colors as a visual interpretation of society conflicts; such as cultural differences, social change and clash of Interests.
